This book, I believe, is not given enough credit. I believe it does a fairly good job at characterizing what we all fear, death.
Tuesda
Honestly, Tuesdays with Morrie is an exceptionally good book, but is not a 10/10. I think a more appropriate score would be a 9/10. While it is a good book to read as far as the morals of the story go, it is very depressing and is not always a book you snatch up and say, "I can't wait to read this book!!!" Anyone that did literature circles towards the end of the sophomore year was afforded the opportunity to read this or many other books. I chose Frankenstein, which I enjoyed more than Tuesdays with Morrie, especially if you understand the book and can comprehend what is going on. So, yes, I would recommend this book, but no, you may not enjoy it as much as a more upbeat book.
ys with Morrie is about a person that had a college professor, and over the years, lost touch with him. The only reas on they got back in touch is heart-breaking, Morrie got a fatal neurological disease called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, that will slowly strip away any action that Morrie can perform until he dies. In their last "classes" together, Morrie and Mitch talk about several issues on life that today's people have difficulty grasping. Their final journey together is an unforgettable one, that has touched many in the U.S.Honestly, Tuesdays with Morrie is an exceptionally good book, but is not a 10/10.
