Eragon checks the place to check for any more eggs and just barely escapes in time. He told Saphira to take Katrina and Roran back without him, and it resulted in a fight that ended with Eragon getting his way. 3) It is the lair of the Razac, and it has a secret entrance that looks like just another part of the mountain when in reality, it is not, it is just an illusion. 4) They encounter some soldiers which they quickly destroy. They also encounter some spirits that visit them and that enrages Eragon to think that some one (Shades) would imprison these spirits and force them to do their biding. 5) Roran gets lashed for disobeying orders from a higher officer. However, the result is Roran saving hundreds and hundreds of lives and winning the fight. Roran is lashed 50 times to stay in the Varden. He could have been lashed 30 times, but he would of had to leave the Varden. 6) He needs to make sure the dwarves pick a king much faster than they were at the time. 7) Members of Az Swelden Rak Anhuin, whom were ordered to do this by their Grimstiborith. They were able to kill one guard, but they were unable to do anything beyond that. 8) He is banished from his clan, and becomes clanless, and his clan is to be banished until they apologize for their actions against Eragon and select a new leader and execute Vermund. He was responsible for coordinating the attack on Eragon. 9) He names it Brisingr because that is the very first spell that he used and the spell that he used to kill Durza the Shade. Whenever he utters its name, the sword bursts into flames regardless whether Eragon wanted it to or not. The old sword forger Rhunon swore she would never forge another sword. Eragon had to find bright-steel and give it to Rhunon so that she can forge another sword by taking control of Eragon's body and making his own hands forge the sword even though Rhunon is controlling his actions. Everyone thinks that she has made the best sword she has ever made. 10) Glaedr and Oromis decide to present to Eragon and Saphira Glaedr's heart of hearts, which will allow them to talk to him and have his power even if he should die. Oromis and Glaedr decide to go into battle, since Oromis' sword contains energy given to him by other elves for the past hundreds of years. Eragon and Saphira help the Varden successfully take Feinster. However, meanwhile, Oromis and Glaedr fight Murtagh and Thorn. Galbatorix talks to Oromis and Glaedr during the fight and tries to persuade him to join his cause. They refuse, Oromis' sword falls to the ground, with it all of Oromis' power and wards. Oromis is slain, and while Glaedr attempts to defeat Thorn and Murtagh, he fails and his soul goes completely into his heart of hearts that Eragon has. They then fled, followed by officials that wanted to capture and/or kill them. 8) Rigg, Loaf, and Olivenko go into the past to before the wall was built and were able to cross the wall with great difficulty, having to cross the last half of the wall in full agony since there was something in the past they had to avoid. Umbo and Param crossed the wall by going back in time a couple weeks and then crossing in slow time in order to not feel the full effect of the wall. They find what they think is Rigg's father, but then they figure out who he really is (see 9) 9) Robots, or expendable that you read about in the alternate story explaning how Garden was colonized. The reason Rigg was unable to see his father's path is because he was not a living being, he was a robot. 10) All of the jewels are neccessary to shut down all of the wall-folds, so they have to travel to each wall-fold and shut it down in order to release everyone into the world free. He is advanced at getting into peoples' minds and controlling them. 9) Pearce. Pearce always tried to get Wisty to like him, which Wisty found repulsive. Sometimes he even used force (assault). Wisty is crushed to find this out and has difficulty relenting her feelings for Heath. 10) Heath kills the Mountain King with Pearce's signature move (melting people's faces clean off their face), revealing that Heath is in fact Pearce. He releases his magical disguise and once again tries to get Wisty to do what he wants. Together Whit and Wisty are able to put Pearce on the ground with their power, but at the last second, his mother comes in (seen earlier in the book) and begs mercy. Whit and Wisty decide to let Pearce go, in exchange for all of the children being released and the water supply restored. They go back home, where the system for leaders that was used in the Resistance for the kids during the N.O. days is used in the city. It turns out to be successful, and Wisty gives a gift to the entire city, a permanent star in the sky. Eldest1) Eragon, Roran, and Nasauda.

Although he won and ended up breaking bone, Eragon still had a great duel with Vanir before he was able to defeat him. 8) A dragon tattooed on the backs of two elf women. It comes alive as they dance and gives Eragon all of the elves' gift, to heal his back and complete the transformation into an elf. 9) Murtagh is the next rider with his dragon Thorn. He was captured by the twins when they all were "killed" by the Urgals. It was all a plot to bring Murtagh back to King Galbatorix. Murtagh was forced to swear fealty, especially after one of the two remaning dragon eggs hatched. 10) Eragon is defeated by Murtagh, who has been taught much greater magical and combat skills than Eragon. Murtagh reveals that they both had the same mother, Selena, and that Murtagh is the eldest to Eragon (his brother), which also reveals the book's namesake. Murtagh steals Zar'roc, saying the eldest son of Morzan deserved it. Murtagh does not force Eragon to come back with him to Urabaen because Eragon makes him remember their previous friendship. Murtagh warns that such niceness will not happen again because he will be forced to swear additional oaths. Finally, Murtagh reveals that the very last dragon egg is male and that the reason Eragon and Saphira are not killed is because then the entire dragon race would fail, and Galbatorix does not want that to happen. It is important that this problem is resolved or it puts the team working together effectively at stake. 6) They are looking for Chernabog and Maleficent. 7) DHI 2.0. Some of the major upgrades includes easier to go Clear. 8) He begins to have visions of events that eventually happen in the future. 9) They do not have the Return, so it is harder to cross back over into human form once crossed over, requiring a manual return. Also, the DHIs think that Disney is attempting to replace them with a new team of DHIs. 10) Finn and Willa leap off of the ship in an attempt to evade hyenas working for the Overtakers. Maybeck is trying to hold them off, but is having a little bit of trouble. The next book is going to pick off where that left off. No Safety in Numbers1) Shay, Lexi, Ryan, and Marco. The Senator (Lexi's mom) tells the last chapter.

Shay is distraught to find her grandmother did not survive the illness, but is happy to find that her sister did. Eragon1) Eragon's cousin is Roran and his uncle is Garrow.
2) In the Spine. He is able to telepathically communicate with his dragon as all riders can. 3) Eragon originally thinks that the dragon egg is just a pretty rock and plans to sell it for some food or money. 4) Brom the storyteller. Later, when Brom is dying, Eragon finds out that Brom used to be a rider. 5) Eragon names his dragon Saphira, which is one of the names that Brom tells him about. Saphira was the name of Brom's dragon, but Saphira ended up dying. 6) Brisingr, which means fire in the ancient language. He uses this spell when some Urgals were trying to kill him and Brom, and he did not originally know that he could use magic until this moment. 7) Tierm. 8) Zar'roc. This sword used to belong to the first and last of the Foresworn (the king's servants) Morzan. Brom gives the sword to Eragon, which he retrieved from Morzan's body after he killed him. 9) Before Eragon fights the Shade Durza, he tells Saphira what is happening. As Durza and Eragon are locked in a fierce war, trying to keep each other's thoughts away from the enemy, Saphira bursts through the ceiling and breaths fire everywhere. 10) Eragon is finally able to kill the Shade Durza with his sword enchanted by Brisingr. When the shade is killed, the spirits that took over his body when he summoned them as a boy against an enemy, enveloped Eragon. As Eragon goes into a coma and attempts to fight them off or at least keep them at bay, a man by the name of Osthato Chetowa (or the Cripple that is Whole) tells him to come to him, and speak of him to no one. He wakes up and finds that everyone is OK and that him killing the shade sent the Urgal army under his control against each other which is the only reason they won. The shade, however, was able to slice his blade across Eragon's back, leaving a permanent scar from his right shoulder down to his left waist. Thirteen Reasons Why1) The girl's name is Hannah Baker, and her tapes include 13 people as the title of the book suggests. The ironic thing about that is a Baker's Dozen is 13 instead of 12. Since her last name is Baker, the tapes are Baker's Dozen.
2) Clay Jensen, and he is on tape 5: Side A. 3) Tony, if he finds out the tapes did not make it through everyone, then the second set of tapes are to be publicly released. 4) A map is included with the tapes, and this is sort of a visual aid for the 13 people on the tapes. 5) Marcus Cooley. He suggests Clay throw the stone at Tyler's house because he was a peeping Tom on Hannah, and everyone up to Clay had. Clay does not end up throwing the stone. 6) Clay is on the tapes because he was so nice to Hannah, and Hannah thought that Clay deserved to know what happened. He comes into the story where all the stories knot up, the party. 7) The Crestmont Movie Theater. 8) Mr. Porter, and at the beginning of the tapes, Hannah suggests that he take them to Hell once he is done because no one follows him on the tapes. 9) Tony, not knowing it, gives Hannah the tapes after she asks for them and gives her a tape recorder. 10) The book ends when Clay goes to school the next day. The last person on the tapes was one of the counsolers, Mr. Porter. Hannah saw him as her last chance of survival. Clay sees Skye in the hallway and runs after her, having seen her the previous night while listening to the tape. He always like Skye (girl), and the book ends with Clay calling her name. The Kill Order1) Mark, Trina, Lana, and Alec.
2) DeeDee, she was immune to the Flare. 3) The Flare, and the infected people are called "Cranks", especially when they have lost any hope of sanity. 4) The Kill Order, The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, and The Death Cure. 5) Victims die slower as the disease spreads, and the disease targets the brain, slowly eating away at victims' sanity. 6) The Transvice. 7) The main characters are Thomas, Teresa, Aris, and Rachel. Teresa is actually DeeDee from The Kill Order, the very first human known to be immune to the Flare. 8) W.I.C.K.E.D (World In Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department). 9) Bergs, used for quick transportation for the government and anyone needing transportation. 10) Mark and Trina are able to get DeeDee to the Flat-Trans safely as Cranks are closing in on them. They write a quick note for the government saying why she is being sent. DeeDee is named Teresa by W.I.C.K.E.D. for their own purposes, and she meets Thomas for the very first time. Ender's Shad0w1) Rotterdam
2) Sister Carlotta finds Bean, but she orginally sends in data about Achillies, the "papa" of Poke's Crew (which Bean is in). 3) Achillies kills 7 people before he goes to Battle School, and Bean figures out by tricking Achillies into a deadly situation where the only way out is for Achillies to be tape recorded telling the story of all his killings. 4) Ender's Game is the original novel, and Ender is the main character in that book. 5) First, Bean goes to Battle School, which is the first school that everyone goes to. Then, for a short amount of time, Bean goes to Tactical School, and then he goes to Command School. 6) Bean organizes Dragon Army for Ender. His thought process when he organized Dragon Army was to scrape together all of the smartest (usually overlooked) launchies and Army rejects together into one army. 7) Julian Delphiki. His parents are Elena and Julian Delphiki, and his brother is Nikolai Delphiki 8) Bean ends up writing two papers. The first one is about his thoughts on why the I.F. is sending kids through training in Battle School, which he sends to lots of Battle School teachers. The second one is about his views on what is going to happen politically and militarily on Earth after the Buggers are defeated, which he sends to Locke (Ender's brother Peter) and Demosthenes (Ender's sister Valentine). Just to tell you about some things in Ender's Game, Peter and Valentine write these essays because Peter believes it will raise them into political power and shake things up on Earth. 9) Bean scored better than anyone in Battle School history (espicially for his age) except the physical section. When Bean was genetically altered by a mad scientist, he unlocked a section in the brain that allows extreme intellegence for a human, at the price of slow, but un-ending growth. Bean will eventually grow so big that his heart will give out on him (not fat, everything would be in proportion). 10) Bean, Ender, and Ender's team at Command School finally defeat the Buggers and all of their queens while everyone but Bean still thinks that it is just a game. Everyone cries and is crushed because they realized that they wasted so many lives. Command School is attacked while the Russians resist arrest and try to take the kids that defeated the Buggers back to Earth. The Russians fail, and Bean is allowed to go back home and be with his biological family for the first time in his life. A Crack in the Sky1) The author's note describes what in the story is factual and what is fictional. This is actually very interesting, so you might read it once you have finished the book.

Grandfather then has a fall out with him and Dr. Friedman goes on to create the Foggers and try to warn people of the inevitable Final Days when all of the Domes would eventually give out and cease to protect humanity. 10) The book ends with Eli and Tabitha finally escaping the Tower. Grandfather dies, so the entire world is crushed. Eli and Tabitha are finally found by a group of Outsiders (the prologue and epilogue have journal entries by one of the people in the group), and will live on the outside for probably the rest of their lives. The Compound1) Eli.

The main reason this began to happen is all of the animals began to die (they were not eating healthy food) 7) Eli's room always has the position of the sun located where it would be in real life on the ceiling. This is because he and his twin brother Eddy used to always watch the sun sets before they went into The Compound. 8) The Matrix. 9) Within driving distance of Rex Yanakakis' three thousand acres in Eastern Washington, which is where the family was camping when Rex said the country was being attacked. 10) Eli finds out what the code of the door is (multiple weapon launches and testing dates) and is able to get to the top of the stairs. Rex comes and tries to keep Eli from getting out, but with the help of Lucas, he is able to get out of The Compound before the self-destruct sequence Rex activated goes off. Eli reunites with Eddy and Gram, as well as the rest of the family, and they move to Hawaii with Gram. |
